Fin or wave?

Ben and I cannot agree about this picture. To the right side of the picture there appears to be a fin in the background, so I think. Ben thinks it's just a wave. We didn't see any dolphins so we assume that was a shark. What do you think?

Hmm... I'm going to say it is a wave. It's got a piece missing from the top to be a fin. But it is very funny looking!

My vote is: wave. Sorry, Alicia! I will admit, though, that it is an oddly shaped wave :)

I vote FIN! Small little ripple waves cant get that kind of height! I do notice the small blemish though, maybe some water is splashed up and obstructing the full view of the fin?

Either way it looks like you guys had a fun time!

A shark would never emerge from under the water that close to the wake of a moving boat. We saw a lot of dolphins that day even not if at that exact moment so I say dolphin or figment of your imagination. Tough call but I say imaginary.

It looks like a wave, but my vote is shark. Sharks near inflatable raft boats are both super and scary.

You know what else is scary, and probably not photoshopped?

Well, I guess we'll just have to check in heaven to see who is right!

KT, nice picture :) No wonder kayaking scares you. You've probably got images like that stuck in your head!

I think it is a wave too. But the shark story sounds better. Just ask mom, she has lots of shark stories.

Looks like most people think it's a wave: http://idthis.org/id/jM/

What a cool website Bryce! Well, I'm going to go on believing it's a fin anyways because I'm a stubborn female, but now I will at least secretly know in the back of my mind it probably was just the crest of the wake :)
