Thanks for.....

Thanksgiving 2008 I was grateful that:
  • Sadie warmed up quickly to Cliffie

  • Bret (Ben's Brother), Shannon, Marissa, and Derek came to visit
  • Auntie Nancy and Uncle Richard came over for Thanksgiving dinner
  • Christy and I had a great visit together and had a fun 'game night'
  • My mom is a really good cook
  • I got to sleep until at least 7 am for 9 consecutive days!
  • The Florida Aquarium was not too crowded and was really fun
  • Tarpon Springs has AMAZING Cannoli and Baklava

  • Baby Ethan got to go home from the hospital after a 6 day stay
  • Ben hardly watched any football at all
Things to Improve Upon for Next Year:
  • Keep Kimmy under house arrest so we get to see her
  • Schedule Sadie's teething for a different week
  • Be in shape to run the Turkey Trot (no, I didn't end up doing it....I'm a failure, I know)

Amen on the yumminess of Tarpon's baklava and cannolis! And if we're in Florida, I will totally run the Turkey Trot with you next year! That has always been my favorite Thanksgiving tradition, but I haven't done it since 2003 when I moved back to Utah! Glad you had such a fun & thankful thanksgiving :)

You are NOT a failure, we just need to COMBINE Kimmy's external visits, and I LOVE cannoli, too (you need to taste Mazzarro's in St. Pete--Fabulous!)

whoa whoa whoa! Do not even act like you didn't get to see me. FIRST of all, that was HARDLY my fault. You had family over and of course i wanted to see my friends and visit a few people. SECOND, it is thanksgiving anyways and we were ALL busy. you of everyone should know that. THIRD, you don't live at my house anyways, so, if you HAD kept me under house arrest, then I would have seen you less then if you didn't. AND... need i remind you, that i drove all the way up to your house and everyone left 7 minutes later.
I am so persecuted!

BUT, good news is, I come home in 9 days. (If i EVER start studying for exams!!!!! ah). Bad news, Joe will try to take over and break up our alliance and frienship; ALICIA THIS NEXT PART IS VERY IMPORTANT! Under absolutely NO circumstances, you can NOT let him come between us! Together, we are nothing short of unstoppable. we rule this family, and everyone knows it. Therefore, we are that much stronger together and you need to remember that. I want you to keep repeating this next phrase, if and WHEN a thought of joe, or the real deal himself tries to threaten that alliance, it is only a matter of time my dear sister. Just repeat after me... Joe's so vain, He probly thinks this song is about him...
or any other useful words of wisdom that will help you battle his cunning ways.

Just remember alicia, I love you! :) You KNOW that, and don't EVER forget it!

Thanks so much for hosting us at your house Alicia! We had so much fun. We wish we lived closer so we could visit more often.

Has Kimmy gone off the deep end? Did she hit her head while soap-sliding away? Maybe the bandana was tied too tight?

I'm not sure what's going on with Kimmy?!?! She needs to come home so I can knock some sense into her :) It is true though, there are alliances in our family. However all her logic in the preceding paragraph was unfounded. Ben's family intentionally went to Disney on Friday and Saturday so I could have Meyers family time. Kimmy showed up to my house (late, I might add because she had been at the Cavanaugh's) on Friday night only to inform me she was leaving in a half-hour to visit the Smiths, Clawsons, and Dicksons. I asked what she was doing the next day....visiting the Emerys, school friends, and going out with Brad at night!! OUCH! It hurt my feelings....

And now I see her dressed as a gangster and pictures of half naked men on her facebook. What is happening to our sweet, little Kimmy that use to be my best little friend? I know not.

alicia, alicia, alicia... many rules were broken just then, as a result, michael would like to be my new alliance. he made me an offer i cannot refuse. I cannot tell you what that is at this time, but you must know that i do this is the spirit of yours and my self interest.

WE AREEE WARRIORSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

No Kimmy! Don't make an alliance with Michael. We go together like peanut butter and jelly, like bacon and eggs, like soup and salad (funny all my examples are food)!

I don't care how many times you ditch me, I will always love you and you will always have an alliance with me :) We are unstoppable together!

:)))

yes, we are. But michael is a good egg too. Think of it, between the three of us, we can do ANYTHING. I mean, he is super computer friendly and fun. The three of us would have so much more fun then Joe and Christy! (Christy, we have to do this. You know how it is. We always battle, if we didn't then the world would cease to be. You know i love you... oh yeah, and you too joe) ( no but seriously, i do). PLUS, if its the three of us, then we also get sadie and ethan! 3 for the price of 1! Yessss!

I LOVE AMERICAN HERITAGE!!!!!!!!!!!
(just thought i would throw that out there..)

What about Fisher? Where does he fit into all of this, what, being Sadie's betrothal, and all? Kimmy, do you know what a betrothal is? I know how you were with all of those very large words I used in seminary. Plus, also, where are you finding time to keep commenting on this blog? Aren't you supposed to be studying for FINALS!!!??????
